Peer review blog

Today in my AICE media blog we had a peer review edit blog where we watched and all another group’s video and have the criticism on it which would help them improve. My group graded my class mates Luca, Ryan, Camilo on their drama genre movie. I interpreted their movie as a love story between a girl and a guy when the boy goes to get something for the girl and gets kidnapped. One thing I really liked about their movie was that the storyline was very clear although the funeral kind of confused us at first but we figured it out once we saw the end. By making their storyline clear it allowed us to understand everything that was going on and prevented any confusion. However there were some things that could use improvements like when Luca dies or gets kidnapped it could have more darker/ somber lighting. This would make the effect of the sadness and scariness more intense and would get the message across what is happening. They also could have improved on transitions to make them clearer, specifically when they tried to do an action match through Ryan’s eye. It wasn’t very clean and kind of shaky, it didn’t really make sense to put it in but if they make the next scene the same action it had the potential to look very good. Another thing I noticed is that the sound was a little bit fuzzy, I wasn’t sure if it was due to the computer or the actual song they used. However, they still need to fix it because you can’t hear it clearly. Otherwise I think their movie was really well put together and filmed.
